January 29 2025 – At Embrun Co-op, we’re always looking for ways to better serve our members and the broader agricultural community. That’s why we’re excited to share that we’ve expanded our offerings with the opening of the new Country Depot at 926 Notre Dame!

This location is not new to us—it has been a key part of Embrun Co-op’s history for decades. Over the years, the building has housed everything from a general store to a grocery store (complete with a walk-in freezer where our current reception desk now stands), a clothing store, a hardware store, and most recently, our head office. Now, it’s entering a new chapter as the Country Depot, a one-stop shop for essential farm and livestock supplies.

For years, our feed counter has operated out of this location, serving local farmers with high-quality feed products. With this expansion, we’re adding an extensive selection of accessories and supplies for all types of livestock and agricultural needs. Whether you’re looking for fencing—both traditional and electric, baler twine, feeders, pest control solutions, or supplies for chickens, horses, dairy cows, pigs, and more, we’ve got you covered. We’ve also added hunting and fishing supplies to support the needs of our rural community.

The idea to expand our agricultural offerings at this location has been in discussion for nearly a decade. It wasn’t until we moved our administration office into the newly renovated building next door that we finally had the space to make it happen. Now, with 2,000 square feet of retail space, we have the capacity to bring even more valuable products to our farmers, members, and community the that relies on us.

This is just the beginning! We’re continually adding more products and welcome any suggestions from our members and customers. If there’s something you’d like to see in the store, let us know—we’re here to support your farming and rural lifestyle needs.
