Board of directors

MR. MICHAEL BOLS

President

Mr. Bols has operated a Jersey-style dairy farm in the Russell area since 1984. Over the years he has been the leader of several farm organizations both regional and provincial. He has been a member of Coop Embrun since 1984. He was first elected to the board of directors in 2011. Over the years he has held the positions of director and chairman of the board.

MR. ALDÉRIC LAFLÈCHE

Vice-President

Mr. Laflèche operates a dairy farm in St-Albert which bears the name Ferme Dlasept. He has been a member since 2013 and was elected director of Embrun Co-op in 2019 after participating in the cooperative's "Young Producer" program.

Caroline Rollin, Board of Directors Embrun Co-op

MS. CAROLINE ROLLIN

Secretary

Ms. Rollin operates a dairy and field crops farm in the Sarsfield area. The Rollin family has been a member of Embrun Co-op since 1983 while Ms. Rollin has been on the board of directors since 2020. Before becoming a director, Ms. Rollin was a recipient of the Embrun Co-op bursary in honor of Jonathan Bergeron.

MR. ÉRIC PATENAUDE

Director

Éric Patenaude is a member of Coop Embrun via Henderson's Meats, a slaughterhouse located in Chesterville that he manages with pride and in accordance with the highest industry standards. Éric is also heavily involved in the daily management of Ferme Gillette Inc., for which he is a fifth-generation partner. He joined our board of directors as a director in December 2022.

MS. MARIA NYENTAP

Director

Maria Myentap is co-owner of Marvellane Farms Ltd. located in Russell. A member of Embrun Co-op since 1993, she joined the board of directors for the first time in 2013. Over the years, Maria has held the positions of director, secretary, and vice-president. Maria is dedicated to the success of her cooperative and its members, consistently demonstrating her commitment to agriculture and the community.

MS. RACHEL PATENAUDE

Director

Rachel Patenaude is a fifth-generation partner at Gillette Farm located in Embrun. She co-manages the family business, which is known for its genetics in both the dairy and cattle sectors. The farm has been a member of Embrun Co-op since 1970. Rachel holds a degree in Agricultural Management and Technology from McGill University.

MR. ELIAS MEYERHANS

Director

Mr. Meyerhans works on his family’s dairy farm in Casselman, purchased in 1988 after his parents immigrated from Switzerland. With 150 cows and 700 cropped acres, he is passionate about agriculture and continuous improvement. For the past eight years, his family has also offered custom farming services, including baling, fertilizer application, silage, and especially manure spreading. He strongly believes in agriculture’s importance in the community and the need to innovate and adapt.
