ceilidh Macrae
Ceilidh MacRae joined the Embrun Co-op team just before planting started in spring 2023 and hasn’t let up since! Growing up in the SD&G area, she feels fortunate to have been surrounded by so many opportunities in the agricultural industry. Her interest was really sparked after she began participating in the local 4-H clubs. Realizing her passion lay in agriculture, she started attending the University of Guelph and earned her Associate Diploma in Agriculture with a focus on crops and crop management. While in school, she spent three seasons working for a strawberry farm, where she rounded out her knowledge of fruit and vegetable crops. Following a crop from seed to harvest cemented her respect for those making a living in the industry.
